A small community initiative where NAIAQ helps someone with a simple home task for free. It could be a small handyman job, a bit of painting, or some light garden work.

For now, the fixing is done directly by NAIAQ until more local providers join in. No one needs to explain or prove anything. If we can help, we will.

Fix-It Forward is for people who could use a bit of practical help at home, especially when paying for help is not realistic right now.

The idea is simple: offer kind, useful support with everyday tasks that can make life a little easier. No pressure, no judgement, and no one should feel awkward for reaching out.

We cannot take every request, and safety always comes first. For now, we are keeping this to simple, non-emergency tasks that do not need certified trades or high-risk work.

If it does not require certification and it feels safe to do, we will try to do it.

We DM you back and agree on the next steps.

After we arrange the time, we complete it and you never hear from us again unless you message us first.

Privacy and filming

Your privacy comes first.

We will never pressure anyone to be filmed, photographed, named, or used in a post.

We do plan to film the process, not the person and not the home. If that is not okay, we completely understand. We would appreciate it if we can take simple before and after pictures instead, but only with permission.

Provider invitation

Providers who want to help are welcome to be part of it.

If you are a local provider and would like to help with the occasional small job in the future, message us. There is no pressure and no expectation. Just a simple way to give something back when it feels right.
